Maintenance Window
Date: Saturday 08/15/2026
Time Window: 6pm PT - 10pm PT
Expected Downtime: Approximately 4 hours within this window
During this time, some Nue functionality will be temporarily unavailable while the maintenance is completed.
What to Expect
Nue Platform (app.nue.io)
Users will be unable to log in to or use the Nue platform for the duration of the maintenance window.
Any in-progress work that has not been saved prior to the maintenance window may be lost.
Nue on Salesforce
Core Salesforce functionality (viewing records, standard objects, non-Nue operations) will continue to be operational.
However, Salesforce-side operations that depend on Nue Core Services will be temporarily unavailable. This includes:
Quoting (CPQ): Creating or editing quotes that require Nue pricing calculations will not function.
Order activation: Orders cannot be activated during the maintenance window.
Subscription management: Upsells, renewals, and other subscription lifecycle operations will be unavailable.
Custom Salesforce Plugins which rely on Nue Core Services
Scheduled jobs in Salesforce may fail if they talk to Nue
Customers should monitor Salesforce scheduled jobs in general, and may need to re-run their Salesforce scheduled jobs after the maintenance window.
Salesforce itself will remain accessible, but any actions that call back to the Nue platform will fail until maintenance is complete.
API Integrations
All API calls to Nue (e.g., api.nue.io) will return errors during the maintenance window.
Third-party integrations (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) that rely on Nue APIs or webhooks will not receive data during this period.
We recommend pausing any automated integrations during the maintenance window to avoid unnecessary error handling or retries.
Webhooks
During the maintenance window, the Nue platform is offline. This means:
Webhooks are paused — no system webhooks (e.g., order activated, subscription updated, customer updated) will be sent to customer endpoints during the downtime.
Orders are not synced — any orders activated in Salesforce during this period will not be synced into Nue, and therefore no corresponding webhooks will be triggered.
What Happens After Downtime Ends
Once the maintenance window completes and the platform is restored, a daily scheduled sync job automatically runs at 8:30 AM UTC (12:30 AM PST). Since the maintenance will have ended, this sync job runs after the downtime window closes.
What Data Is Synced
The sync job queries Salesforce for all orders that have not yet been synced to Nue (orders with an empty nueId field) and syncs the following into Nue:
Orders — order header data including status, dates, customer, and pricing
Order Products — line items associated with each order, including product details, quantities, terms, and pricing
Subscriptions — subscription records created or updated as a result of order activation
Related references — associated data such as assets, contacts, price books, and customer/account records needed to fully process the orders
Webhooks are triggered once the sync completes. As each order is synced and processed in Nue, the corresponding webhooks are fired and delivered to the customer's configured endpoints — including order activated, subscription updated, customer updated, and any other applicable event webhooks.
Manual Intervention
No manual intervention is required. The automated daily sync ensures all orders created or activated in Salesforce during the outage are reconciled into Nue automatically.
Scheduled and Background Jobs
For sync jobs, we have daily jobs to re-sync any records not synced for most of the Nue objects.
For the billing runs, currently, we can suspend the ongoing billing jobs when the service is down and resume them once it is up again
The payment link in Nue won't be available, so users shouldn't be able to pay the invoices through Nue payment links. But if they pay invoices from Stripe, we cannot receive the webhook events during the downtime. Stripe will retry webhooks up to 5 times over 3 days, so eventually the events will make it through. Or if the customer wants to check, they can go to Stripe dashboard to resend the webhooks from Stripe for all the paid invoices that are not updated in Nue.
Data Integrity
All existing data will be fully preserved. No data loss will occur as a result of this maintenance.
Any transactions completed before the maintenance window will remain intact and unaffected.
What You Should Do
Before Maintenance
Save all in-progress work in the Nue platform, including any open quotes, draft orders, or billing configurations.
Avoid initiating long-running operations (e.g., large quote generations, bulk order processing, bulk data imports) close to the start of the maintenance window.
If you have automated integrations with Nue, consider pausing or disabling them for the duration of the window to prevent error accumulation.
During Maintenance
No action is required. Please refrain from attempting to access the Nue platform or triggering Nue operations from Salesforce until maintenance is complete.
Do not retry failed API calls or integration syncs during the maintenance window.
After Maintenance
Access will be restored automatically. You can resume normal operations once the platform is available.
Verify that any scheduled syncs or integration workflows have resumed as expected.
If you notice any missing data, failed syncs, or unexpected behavior after the maintenance window, please contact Nue Support immediately so our team can investigate.
Why This Maintenance Is Being Performed
